ACCENT REDUCTION COACH

For those who speak English as a second language, I offer services to fine tune and reduce the accent to sound like a native American speaker. Using my skills as a musician, I have developed specific techniques and exercises that can guide the student in re-training their ears to the new sounds and shaping the vocal tract in certain ways to achieve the right sound. Exercises will be based on imitation, repetition, and using the rhythm to guide us in acquiring the right intonation. Learning about word stress and how and where to put the stresses on syllables will also be taught. Once the rules and techniques have been explained one can enjoy the benefits of having acquired the tools to work by oneself.

Lessons come to $55.00/50Euros for a full hour and are paid through Paypal or Venmo. All lessons are done over Zoom, recorded by the student.

When one decides to learn another language to expand the sphere of one's abilities, it is a long and tiring process, which requires motivation and consistency.
